Mopar provides three different types of extended warranties. There are three levels of Powertrain Care: Basic, Added Care Plus, and Maximum Care. Additionally, Road Hazard Tire and Wheel coverage can be added to any of these policies. But before we go on, what’s Mopar vehicle protection?

This plan covers parts of the engine like the oil pump, valve covers, oil pan, supercharger, water pump, and housing. It also covers transmission, rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drives, steering, air conditioning, and so on. 

Furthermore, Mopar accessories like speed control, audio systems, clocks, transmission oil cooler, remote trunk release, and power sliding rear windows are covered in the plan as long as an authorized FCA US facility originally installed them.

This is a complete strategy. It covers all-electric powered systems, all ECUs in every car, Shocks, torsions, mounts, power windows, and hood.

Services and items used in maintenance such as tires, brake pads, rotors, shoes, belts, drums, wipers, trailer hitches and snowplows, soft trim, body, and paint are not part of the plan.

How Can You File a Mopar Claim?

Unless you acquired an extended warranty over the phone from a Mopar salesperson, all servicing must be handled by the dealership where you purchased the warranty. Customers’ warranties will then be refunded after repairs have been approved. It’s possible to gain permission to use another dealer if your dealership is too far away.
